Indoor Track -- Wilton girls sixth at FCIACs






NEW HAVEN -- The Wilton High School boys and girls indoor track team competed in the 2010 FCIAC Indoor Track Championships on Thursday night at the New Haven Athletic Center.

The girls placed sixth out of 15 teams, scoring 29 points. The boys squad was 11th out of 14 teams, scoring 9.667 points. Danbury won both meets

The top two performers for the Warriors were Celeste Hoelzl, who placed third in the girls 1000 with a time of 3:03.79 (She was seeded with a time of 3:09.00) and Jesse Socci, who was fourth in the boys shot put with a toss of 46 feet, 7.75 inches.
