High School Roundup -- Wilton girls fall to Ridgefield by six points, fall one win shy of state tournament

In the final game of their high school basketball careers, Wilton seniors Steph Boyles and Stacy Pokora combined for 40 points, but it wasn't enough as the Warriors fell six points and one win shy of the state tournament by losing to the Tigers.
Boyles tossed in 25 points for Wilton while Pokora had 15. Casey Pearsall, a freshman, chipped in with 16 more for the Warriors, whose 7-13 season was their best effort in five years.
Emily Favorite led Ridgefield, 16-4, with 25 points.
Kurt Marut broke loose for 19 points to lead the Warriors (4-14 overall, 2-14 FCIAC), who made their archrivals work for the victory. Ridgefield (12-6 overall, 10-6 FCIAC).
