BREAKING NEWS: Suspicious package halts NY, CT train traffic


NEW YORK (AP) - Metro-North Railroad halted train traffic to and from Grand Central Terminal in Manhattan after a suspicious package was reported in Westchester County.
The railroad says the package was found at midday Tuesday near a platform in Rye, N.Y.
The area was evacuated while the matter was investigated.
Northbound trains were held at Grand Central in Manhattan. Southbound trains were held at Stamford.
