BREAKING NEWS: Connecticut records 4th swine flue death (map)
Posted on 06/18/2009
HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) — A fourth Connecticut resident has succumbed to swine flu. The state Department of Public Health says the victim from Hartford County was between 40 and 49 years old, and had underlying medical conditions that increased the risk for serious illness. The department would not say when the person died, only that the death occurred “recently” and occurred after the victim was hospitalized. The department says 767 Connecticut residents have been confirmed with swine flu, and 28 have been hospitalized. FOLLOW US ON TWITTER: http://twitter.com/TheHourNews
