'Historic' storm nears Norwalk (Weather map and video)


Connecticut is bracing for the first major snowfall of the season, which could leave up to 16 inches of snow on the ground for the holidays.

The National Weather service says the storm is expected to start mid to late afternoon Saturday, with the heaviest snowfall on Saturday night.



Forecasters predict up to 13 inches could fall in the Bridgeport area before the snow tapers off on Sunday morning. Cities and towns around Hartford and New London could see up to 16 inches.

Temperatures are expected to range from the low to high 20s, with north winds reaching 24 miles per hour Saturday night.

LOL! Hope they have come up with some ways to improve global warming - it's like 20 freakin' degrees in East Norwalk!
