Many Hour readers expressed concern about police activity at an Osborne Avenue home, believing it was a hostage incident or a stand-off.

Since you are so certain that you know everything there is to know about police work, then why haven't you offered yourself as a consultant to the NPD and fix whatever it is that you perceive as the problem? After all, someone as knowledgeable as you promote yourself to be should not be hiding their light under a bushel now should they? In fact, I think all of Norwalk would like to be enlightened by your superior knowledge, so why don't you post your recommendations here on this website where we all can read them? Come on, we're all holding our breath waiting. You're so willing to point the finger; now let's hear all about what needs to be changed and how you would do it, including budgets, contracts, hiring/firing, community input - the whole works.

Come on, Wonder Boy. You're holding everyone up.

Well thank you for the compliments but I am not looking for work.....However I do pay taxes for Norwalk service to work for me including the mayor police and so on..

Looks like we have another who knows everything yet The Hour is trying,when we hear about the actual crime in Norwalk while this dress rehearsal from a Columbine script was played out then the city will realize what we have for crime in Norwalk and if we need more police.Money for everything else but protection.

Its nice we have bloodhounds working on all this but the series of accidents in front of the Hospital on the heels of construction intent and not knowing how the person was who got hit and the details surrounding that particular incident still would helpful for those of us waiting to hear how the council is going to make the area safer before it gets worse.

Newhound by the way was coined for Norwalks reporters years ago it is fitting where information is never given out two years before city elections.
