Wilton Public Schools closed due to pending storm

Staff Report WILTON -- All Wilton Public Schools will be closed Wednesday due to the pending snowstorm, according to the schools' Web site, www.wilton.k12.ct.us. The National Weather Service is predicting up to 9 inches of snow Wednesday. Snow, possibly mixed with sleet, is expected to hit the region by Wednesday morning, with precipitation turning to all snow after noon. Winds could gust as high as 36 mph. The Wilton Villager is continuing to follow the weather reports and will update this information as more becomes available.
