Wilton Police Reports

Gamaliel Vasquez, 24, of 8A Granite Drive, Bethel, was charged with failure to respond to an infraction at 1:26 p.m. at the Wilton Police Department. According to police, Vasquez was originally ticketed for speeding in June of 2009. Vasquez has a court date on Feb. 26.


Thursday, Feb. 18


Richard Weiss, 56, of 8 Wilton Woods Rd., Wilton, was charged with violation of a protective order at 9 a.m. at the Wilton Police Department. According to police, upon learning of his arrest warrant, Weiss turned himself into custody. The violation stems from various domestic incidents where Weiss was harassing his wife. Weiss has a court date on Feb. 19.


Steve Fusco, 30, of 68 Mist Hill Rd., Milford, was charged with reckless driving on Route 7 at 12:54 p.m. According to police, Fusco was driving south on Route 7 near Grumman Hill Road when he fell asleep and crossed northbound lanes forcing at least one driver to swerve to avoid hitting his vehicle. Fusco's vehicle came to rest south of Hollyhock Lane on top of a stone wall and against a utility pole. According to police, Fusco was not tested for any substances. Fusco has a court date on Feb. 19.

Gee, no drunken women passing through 06897 this week. Hopefully that left the PD a smidgeon of time to work on THE murder case. We should see an arrest next week!!!
