Health topics are featured each week on the show and the guests include local physicians and health professionals as well as patients who are willing to share their personal stories. Medication safety will be discussed with Robert Bepko, R.Ph., director of corporate pharmacy services at Norwalk Hospital, during the show that airs the week of June 27. In the second segment of the show, he will discuss specific medications and sun sensitivity. The show that will air during the week of July 4 will include an interview with Dr. Yoni Barnhard regarding his trip to Tanzania. Drs. Mazur and Peterson said that this is "a very inspiring show" about Norwalk Hospital's Chairman of Obstetrics and Gynecology's experience in Tanzania. The prevention and treatment of stroke will be the topic of the Health Talk show aired during the week of July 11. It will feature the members of the stroke response team at Norwalk Hospital including Dr. Daryl Story, neurologist with Neurology Associates of Norwalk, Dr. Edward Eisenberg, an emergency department physician, Mary Galasinski, RN and Kate Melanson, RN, nurses with the Stroke Center at Norwalk Hospital, as well as an inspiring patient.
