There should be more than a little Woodstock déjà vu at this Wednesday's free First County Bank Summer Concert Series at Calf Pasture Beach. The band Back to the Garden 1969 headlines there at 7 p.m. And don't be surprised if the band's set list reminds you of the original Woodstock. Back to the Garden 1969 is a celebration of the music and history of the Woodstock era, and the band's material includes the songs from the original concert. These include classics from Santana, The Who, Crosby, Stills & Nash, Jimi Hendrix, and Sly and the Family Stone. Back to the Garden 1969 was formed in 2009 by former Norwalk resident Gary Adamson to coincide with the 40th anniversary of the original Woodstock festival. Besides Adamson, who plays drums, guitars, and sings, other band members include Mike Garner on bass and vocals, Larry Kelly on guitar and vocals, Bob Fonseca on keys and vocals, and Annie Masciandaro on drums and vocals. And, just like the original Woodstock, Wednesday's concert if free, although a parking fee of $5 per car will be charged for cars without a Norwalk beach sticker.
