Wilton Police Reports



Tuesday, July 13


Allan M. Graves, 58, of 174 Boggs Hill Road in Newtown, and Daniel B. Hayes, 39, of 2 Fawn Road in Bethel, were charged with reckless driving at 7 Old Mill Road at 7:56 a.m. According to police, Hayes and Graves were both traveling south on Route 7 in the area of Old Mill Road and were both engaged in an incident of road rage. Police said Hayes was in front of Graves traveling south on Route 7 when Graves pulled to the left and attempted to pass Hayes. Hayes then accelerated to block Graves and Graves pulled back into the right lane and struck Hayes' vehicle.


Ethan Tarnow, 38, of 1560 Route 23 C in East Jewett, N.Y., was charged with failure to attend at the Wilton Police Department at 2:18 p.m. According to police, Tarnow turned himself in on a failure to appear in court warrant originally from passing a school bus. Tarnow has a court date on July 23.


Wednesday, July 14


Doncel Ute Boddie, 37, of 6702 Blue Teal Court in Suffolk, Va., was charged with possession of under 4 oz of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, operating a motor vehicle without insurance, operating a motor vehicle without a license and having a tail light out at 10:38 a.m. on Route 7. According to police, Boddie was stopped for a routine motor vehicle stop. Marijuana and drug paraphernalia were found inside Boddie's vehicle and he was arrested, said police. Boddie has a court date on July 26.


Friday, July 16


According to police reports, an Olympus digital camera was found on Danbury Road by North Main Street in Georgetown at 6:15 p.m. The owner can contact the Wilton Police Department to claim the camera.


Harold R. Horn III, 60, of 3 Autumn Ridge Drive in Wilton, was charged with DUI, possession of under 4 oz. of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, evading responsibility and making an improper turn on Route 7 at 6:01 p.m. According to police, Horn was involved in a two car motor vehicle accident near the intersection of Route 7 and Westport Road. Police said Horn's vehicle was rear-ended during the accident and Horn drove away from the scene. When police found Horn at his house, Horn stated he was driving his car involved in the accident. After completing field sobriety tests, Horn was arrested. Horn has a court date on July 29.


Saturday, July 17


Stephan A. Dean, 41, of 424 Willard Ave. in Newington, was charged with DUI, possession of under 4 oz. or marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and drinking while operating a motor vehicle at 387 Danbury Road at 1:39 p.m. According to police, they received an erratic operation complaint on a vehicle traveling south on Route 7. Officers located Dean at the parking lot of 387 Danbury Road. After completing field sobriety tests, Dean was arrested and taken into custody. Dean has a court date on July 30.


Sunday, July 18


Thomas J. Donovan, 26, of 106 Loring Ave. in West Dennis, Mass., was charged with DUI and speeding on Route 7 at 3:04 a.m. According to police, Donovan was detected going 62 mph in a 40 mph zone. Upon stopping him, it was learned that Donovan had consumed alcohol prior to driving. Donovan failed field sobriety tests and was taken into custody. He has a court date on July 29.


Monday, July 19


According to police reports, a third-degree burglary occurred at an office building located at 87 Old Ridgefield Road at 2:25 p.m. According to police, they responded to a report of a burglary from the property manager of the building. The property manager informed officers that unknown persons climbed to the second floor of the building and entered an unlocked window damaging window blinds. The subjects then climbed down into an outdoor enclosure and had to kick out the door to get out. According to police, items found outside on the ground and items possibly handled inside are being processed for fingerprints. Nothing was reported stolen. Anyone with further information is encouraged to contact the Wilton Police Department.

Horn. How is it possible that you recv''d a charge of DUI and possession? While at your house?
