Wednesday, July 21


Mario Lombardi, 50, of 995 Shippan Ave., Stamford, was charged with threatening in the second degree at the Wilton Police Department at 12:30 p.m. According to police, Lombardi turned himself in on an arrest warrant stemming from a domestic incident that occurred on July 11. Lombardi had a court date on July 22.


Jennifer C. Mincey, 40, of 500 Ridgefield Road, Wilton, was charged with DUI and risk of injury to a minor at 33 Linden Tree Road at 7:46 p.m. According to police, Mincey was arrested after hitting a Wilton Community Emergency Response Team member's vehicle while the member was directing traffic. Police said that a child was in the vehicle at the time of the accident. Mincey has a court date on July 30.


Sunday, July 25


According to police reports, a motor vehicle accident occurred on New Canaan Road at 9:14 a.m. Police said that at approximately 9:14 a.m,. a motor vehicle traveled off the right side of the road and then crossed the roadway and struck a tree. A witness described the vehicle as a teal-colored smaller car, similar to a Toyota Camry or an Acura. The vehicle left the scene and should have damage to the front and/or right side of the vehicle. Anyone with information should call the Wilton Police Department.


Karen A. Smith, 43, of 8 Silvermine Ave., Norwalk, was charged with failure to drive right, passing on the right and operating under the influence at 2:23 a.m. on Route 7. According to police, Smith was observed traveling south on Route 7 in the area of Cannon Road. Smith was observed crossing over the double yellow line into the northbound lane and then passing a southbound vehicle on the right side. Upon stopping Smith, police determined she consumed alcohol prior to driving. Smith was unable to perform standardized tests and was taken into custody, according to police. She has a court date on Aug. 5.


Monday, July 26


John W. Dunkle, 29, of 7 Killan Dr., Danbury, was charged with speeding, engaging police in pursuit, possession of fireworks and operating under the influence at 1:42 a.m. on Route 7. According to police, Dunkle was driving north on Route 7 at 80 mph. When police tried to stop Dunkle, he accelerated to try and elude police. Dunkle then lost control of his vehicle, which spun around 180 degrees and stopped. Police said Dunkle admitted to drinking prior to driving and 137 packages of fireworks were found in Dunkle's possession. Dunkle has a court date on Aug. 5.
