AP: Malloy, Foley and McMahon lead their perspective races

Staff Reports Former Stamford Mayor Dannel P. Malloy is leading Ned Lamont in the Democratic nomination for governor, according to poll numbers released by the Associated Press. Malloy is leading 57 percent to 43 percent. In the Republican race for the gubernatorial nomination, Tom Foley is leading Lt. Gov. Michael Fedele, 47 percent to 34 percent. In the Republican race for the U.S. Senate, Linda McMahon is leading Rob Simmons 48 percent to 29 percent to become the GOP nominee to fill the U.S. Senate seat being vacated by Sen. Christopher Dodd, (D-Conn.).
