Wilton Police Reports



Wednesday, Aug. 4


According to police reports, 57 sets of cutlery and a sword was stolen from Vector Marketing, located at 35 Danbury Road, at 7:47 p.m. Police said that between 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 3, and 5 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 4, at 35 Danbury Road, the cutlery and sword were taken. The 57 sets of cutlery and sword were valued at $33,000. The case remains under investigation.


Kristina A. Daniele, 20, of 31 George St. in Danbury, was charged with failure to attend court in the second degree on Route 7 at 5 p.m. According to police, during a routine motor vehicle stop, Daniele was found to have a warrant out for her arrest from the Bridgeport Police Department. Daniele has a court date on Aug. 16.


Thursday, Aug. 5


According to police reports, a Mongoose XR-70 mountain bike was found on Hickory Hill Road at 5:15 p.m. Anyone with information should contact the Wilton Police Department.


Saturday, Aug. 7


Jasier Arce, 27, of 161 Chatham St. in New Haven, was charged with speeding and operating under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs at 2:20 a.m. on Route 7. According to police, Arce was observed traveling 60 mph in a posted 40 mph zone. Upon stopping Arce, police found him to be intoxicated and he was transported to the Wilton Police Department. Arce has a court date on Aug. 17.


According to police reports, damage to a large cement ornamental planter occurred on Mountain Road at 11:26 p.m. Police said the planter was broken by unknown persons and the case remains under investigation.


Tuesday, Aug. 10


According to police reports, a LCD projector was stolen from Miller-Driscoll School at 2:08 p.m. Police said the school had received a number of new projectors and realized one had recently gone missing. The LCD projector is valued at $678. Anyone with information should contact the Wilton Police Department.

On Friday, August 6, many mailboxes were vandalized on the following streets: Coley Road, Pine Ridge, Sturges Ridge, Henry Austin, and Bhasking Ridge. As well, there were a total of 3 burglaries on Henry Austin, Sturges Ridge and Pond Road on the same night.

Why hasn''t any of this been reported here?

ANOTHER case of a found bike. Seems strange that this same crime has been plauging Wilton for months now. We need more cops. No one is safe anymore.
