Wilton teens to get chance to be in film at Trackside

WILTON -- On Friday, Trackside Teen Center will be transformed into a movie studio as IHTP Productions of Wilton will be shooting scenes for its production of the film, "I Hate Tom Petty."

The film's storyline focuses on singers and songwriters, relationships with family, and the pressures of success. According to Mark Ketley, Trackside's executive director, the movie's producer has put out a call to Wilton's teens to come to Trackside for an opportunity to be an extra in the film. Interested middle and high school students are asked arrive at Trackside, 15 Station Road, Wilton, at 5 p.m. on Friday for a chance to be in the film.
