For the 9th consecutive year, the Wilton Villager in conjunction with the Town of Wilton 2008 Memorial Day celebration , will honor all Wilton Veterans in a special Wilton Villager Memorial Day Photo Supplement.

All Wilton Veterans who have served in peace or war, are asked to bring or send their pictures to Town Hall to be printed in this special section of the Villager. The photos may be black & white head shots and preferably of Veteran in uniform. If you are in last year's Villager's Memorial Day photo supplement, there is no need to send another photo. Also if you haven't already done so, please respond with the information requested to enable us to update our Veteran Archives. Fill out and attach to photo Name, Branch of Service, Rank, Date of Service, Training, Citations, Oversea bases and/or a few particulars remembered.

"HONOR THEIR SACRIFICE"is the theme for this year's celebration. and this is a call to all Wilton Veterans to send in their photos and join this distinguished group of heroes.

This year more than ever, the Wilton Villager's 2008 Memorial Day Veteran's Photo Supplement will pay special tribute to those veterans who have and are today making the supreme sacrifice, joining those heroes who have given their lives in past conflicts, and in recognition of today's living veterans who will be marching to honor them .
