* Friday, April 11 Wilton Arts Council Focus '08 Juried Photography Exhibition Reception, 6 7:30 p.m. 10th annual juried exhibition with categories for Best in Show, Adult, Student (high school) and Youth., Open to the public. Exhibition runs through Saturday, April 26.
* Sunday, April 13 Documentary film premiere of "A Georgetown Story," from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Two years in the making through the Georgetown History Project (GHP), the 30-minute documentary tells the history of Georgetown. Refreshments will be served. GHP T-shirts and DVDs of the movie will be available to order. There's no charge for the program. Advance registration is suggested. * Thursday, April 17 Breakfast with the First Selectman, from 8 to 9:15 a.m. The event includes breakfast and an informal chat with Bill Brennan. The breakfast chat is sponsored by the Village Market and hosted by the Wilton Chamber of Commerce and the Wilton Library. Topics include: up-to-date information on the proposed 2008-2009 budget; Route 7 construction project; and the town's goals and objectives. The event is open to the public. * Sunday, April 20 Earth Day 2008 Celebration, from 1 to 4:30 p.m. The gallery of Wilton Library will be the site for a variety of activities celebrating Earth Day 2008. Attendees can bring in plastic grocery bags from home and receive a grocery bag that can be re-used over and over, courtesy of The Village Market, Millstone Farm and the Wilton Library. The Earth Balloon exhibit will be in the Brubeck Room. Presenters take students on an interactive and captivating journey around and inside the earth, with a special program specially geared to Earth Day. Children can plant seeds in pots they can take home and watch grow. Energy efficient light bulbs will be available for purchase. Recycling containers will be available for old cell phones and inkjet cartridges.Crafts, food, music and more. There's no charge for the event.

* Monday, April 14 through Wednesday, May 21 Spring story times are Mondays through Wednesdays for children ages 1 6 years, various days and times. The story time events offer different levels of interaction with and without caregivers based on children's ages. There's no program charge. Advance registration is recommended. * Thursday, April 17 Reel Thursday, at 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. Free movies shown for little kids in the morning and older kids in the afternoon. At 10:30 a.m., "Thomas and the Treasure" will be shown, and at 2 p.m., the "Bee Movie" will be shown. Popcorn and lemonade will be served. Children under 8 must be accompanied by caregivers and children between 8 and 12 must have caregivers in the building. There's no charge for the program and no registration required.
* Friday, April 18 Drop-in Earth Day Crafts, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Children of all ages can drop by during library hours for an Earth Day-themed craft. There's no charge for the program and no reservation required. Materials are supplied by the library.
* Tuesday, April 22 Visiting Author: Amy Bloom "Away," from 7 to 9 p.m. Bloom will discuss her new book "Away," the epic and intimate story of young Lillian Leyb, a dangerous innocent and an accidental heroine. When her family is destroyed in a Russian pogrom, Lillian comes to America alone, determined to make her way in a new land. When word comes that her daughter, Sophie, might still be alive, Lillian embarks on an eventful odyssey back to Siberia to find her. Books will be available for purchase and signing.
