Wilton Police Reports



On Friday, April 4 at 10:15 p.m. on 25 River Road Christopher Corvese, 18 of Wilton was arrested by police of simple trespass, possession of alcohol by minor, dispensing alcohol to minor. Nathan Becton, 26 of Bridgeport was aressted for simple trespass and dispensing alcohol to a minor, and two male youths from Wilton were accused of simple trespass, according to police. The Wilton Police received complaint of a suspicious vehicle occupied by youths at the Avalon Spring apartment complex. Officers arrived and found the vehicle occupied. In plain view a minor in vehicle was observed to be in possession of a bottle of beer, said police. A search revealed other containers of alcohol and an investigation revealed that Becton supplied the youths, said police.

Gregory Reiske, 25 of New Milford was accused of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia on Monday, April 7 at 8:45 a.m. on Route 7, said police. Reiske was traveling south on Route 7 with no front plate affixed, said police. When police stopped him it was revealed that Reiske was in possession of a glass smoking pipe.

According to police reports on Thursday, April 3 at 2:57 a.m. on Route 7 Seth Mitchell, 29 of Danbury was accused of operating a motor vehicle under suspicion and failure to drive right, according to police. Mitchell was stopped by police for failure to drive right. Upon investigation it was learned that his license was currently suspended and he possessed a warrant out of Norwalk for unlawful restraint in the second and assault in the third, said police. Mitchell also possessed a warrant out of Troop A for failure to appear from a reckless driving charge, said police. Mitchell was transported to the Wilton Police Department and held for Norwalk Police.




On Thursday, April 3 at 8 a.m. on 115 Blue Ridge Road a Cavalier King Charles dog was reported missing, said police. The dog is brown and white. Anyone with information please contact the Wilton Police Department.

According to police reports on Friday, April 4 at 9:56 a.m. a set of car keys were found between Silver Spring Road and Ruscoe Road. Anyone who wants information contact the Wilton Police Department.

On Friday, April 4 at 5:06 p.m. on 7 Mather St. a male youth from Wilton was accused of disorderly conduct, said police. There was an argument on 7 Mather Street between an aunt and a nephew while resulted in a physical altercation, said police. The youth was then arrested, said police.

Edi Gonzalez, 32 of Stamford was accused of failure to drive right on a curve and a DUI on Saturday, April 5 at 11:16 p.m. on Route 7, said police. Gonzalez was stopped after another motorist called and complained of his erratic operation, said police. After being stopped and officer smelled alcohol coming from Gonzalez's vehicle and Gonzalez admitted to drinking prior to driving. Sobriety tests were conducted and the accused was arrested, said police.

According to police reports two bicycles were found on the side of Whipstick Road by Turtleback Road on Saturday, April 5 at 7:36 a.m., said police. With proper description the bicycles can be picked up at the Wilton Police Department.

On Tuesday, April 1 at 7:51 a.m. on Belden Hill Road Justin Lockwood, 39 of Norwalk was accused of failure to obey a stop sign, said police. Lockwood was driving north on Belden Hill Road then turned left and was struck by Ansley Jarke 29 of Dallas, Texas who was traveling south on Belden Hill Road, said police. Jarke was transported to the Norwalk Hospital, no further injuries were reported, said police.
